They Need Your Help

About a month and a week ago, the Calatagan farmers left their homes in Calatagan Batangas to assert their land rights over 507 hectares of land being grabbed by Ramon Ang for mining purposes. Classes will resume this June and the marchers who camped out at the DAR [Department of Agrarian Reform] need assistance in providing bags, notebooks, pens, pencils and other school supplies for 20 high school and 28 elementary students they left behind. Hope we can donate in whatever little way.

Yesterday, they left their camp at DAR and moved to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources office [DENR]. You can drop off your donations there or you may contact Mr. Gari Lazaro at 0920-9506901, he'll be glad to pick up your donations.
