Smooth Feet

To keep your feet feeling smooth all the time try this simple trick. This routine works best before bed. Here's what you should do.. after showering or washing your feet, slough the bottoms of your feet while skin is still damp. If your soles are rough, soak them in warm whole milk for 10 minutes before using a foot file. The lactic acid in milk helps loosen dead skin cells making buffing more successful. Then, massage on a thick cream and pull on a pair of socks. As for me, petroleum jelly works well instead of cream.

warm milk! How interesting! Another of your expert tips that I will have to try. My poor feet could use this.

Hmm, just make sure to discard the milk after use, he he he. Hi sistah, happy weekend! Tks for the tip. I have my own foot spa here and I use foot scrub followed by minty foot cream and then pull on socks. I feel like I can use a spa right now ;-)

No way am I going to do all that! Mira makes a very good point about being sure to throw out the milk when done.

I use a scrub cream at the end ofa bath to smoothen the skin, and pumice.
Then I rub in ome light cream as Ihate sleeping with socks or creamy feet.
