



Capsicum Pepper or Siling Labuyo in Filipino is a diminutive fruit with a fiery goodness. These are the smallest variety of hot peppers found in the Philippines. It's a very popular condiment but can also be used for arthritis and rheumatism by crushing the fruit and mixing it with oil and applying it to the affected part.

ReplyDeleteWe called that cili padi over here. We have 2 varieties here. The local ones are smaller and extremely hot whereas the Thai ones are mediocre.

ReplyDeleteWe use hot pepper in our cooking and the most common one here in the local store is Jalpeno pepperes.
ohhh that sure is HOT! I love to used it with vinigar as a dipping for fried fish! YUM! mine is kinda late..hehehe
