Why Organic?

Stop thinking about whether you should buy organic or not, here's why... produce and grains grown without pesticides don't expose your thyroid to toxins. They keep your metabolism running in full swing. The non-organic ones block your metabolism because they interfere with your thyroid. For boosting your metabolism, go organic.

  8. Organic also tastes better. I am lucky to have a farmer's market in my area where I can get organic foods, produce, free-range meats and poultry. Luckily, it isn't as expensive here as it is in some places.

  9. I find it too expensive to buy everything organic...but I'd say I'm around 70%. But, I find most of it at Trader Joes, where it's often less expensive than the supermarket or Whole Foods. Yikes...Whole Foods prices are just plain scary!

  11. Hey Liza,

I couldn't agree more!!! My doctor had already told me to go organic, because non-organic food was altering my system (I felt intoxicated) so I began to buy veggies on a small farm nearby my neighbourhood: Mmmm delicious veggies!

I hope you're feeling better and that you had a superb weekend! :D

Wishing you a terrifc week ahead...
    Cheers

  12. Trader Joe's is where I buy my organic veggies and fruit. They are a lot cheaper than other stores. Meat though, so expensive!

  13. I agree!

I totally love Whole Foods Markets - a good portion of the produce is organic and it's almost always less expensive than even the Safeway down the street because it's locally grown.

... plus... organic just plain tastes better!
