It is wiser to grab a snack before you sip caffeine or alcohol. Drinking on an empty stomach encourages insulin to floodgate into the the bloodstream. According to studies, it activates cortisol, a fat-storing hormone. So if you can't live without your morning boost of caffeine, drink only after you nibble some food. It will help stabilize your blood sugar levels.
The first thing I run for in the morning is caffeine but now will pop a treat into my mouth first. Great and helpful. thanks
