What You See Isn't What You Get

A new study made by the Prevention Institute shows that nearly two-thirds of child-friendly food products that feature fruit images contain little or no fruit. Most of them are loaded with, sugar other added sweeteners and preservatives. You will be surprised to find out that some of the worst offenders are "wholesome" foods like cereal, yogurt and fruit beverages.

If you are buying fruit juice, make sure the label says 100% fruit juice. Check out the nutrition label to steer clear of unhealthy choices.

  1. Absolutely! People would be surprised how many foods had high fructose corn syrup in them...including breads.
