What to do with Stale Donuts

When you have leftover doughnuts and it's going stale in your refrigerator, what do you do? Don't throw them out just yet, you can turn them into bread pudding and serve it as a snack or breakfast. Here's what you need to do. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Grease a small baking dish. Cube the doughnuts and place them in the baking dish. In another bowl, mix together 1 small can of condensed milk, 1 egg, beaten, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, a pinch of salt. You can add fresh fruits or a small can of fruit cocktail if you like. Pour the mixture over the cubed doughnuts and let soak for about half an hour, or even overnight. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until firm. You can serve them with maple syrup on the side.

  18. This is a good tip. However, I don't think it will of use to us. Donuts have never gone stale in our house because they're gobbled up fast. Agawan pa nga eh! He he.
