OJ is the better choice. An 8 oz glass of 100 % natural juice has more than twice the amount of vitamin C recommended for kids. The vitamin C found in orange juice is six times more the amount found in an equal serving of apple juice. Even if your child drinks just a small amount of OJ, you know he gets his daily fix. Experts say that regular consumption of orange or orange juice may lessen the risk of childhood leukemia.

Thanks for the reminder!
ReplyDeleteMaraming salamat sa link tungkol sa oily skin. :)

Hi Liza,
ReplyDeleteWhile growing up I only drank squeezed orange juice - I can still remember it! Perhaps that is why I never caught a cold while growing up!
Anyway, how are you darling? Me, I am all right :D! I hope you had a nice weekend; and I wish you a fantastic week ahead!
Cheers
Fresh- orange juice
ReplyDeleteApple is also delicious.
Thank you for this great information! I always serve my kids a glass of orange juice when they come home from school, and it's good to know I thereby serve them some much needed vitamin C!
ReplyDeleteI always like to have oranges in the fruit bowl, if only for their bright color! Pair them up with some Granny Smith apples and you've got a great still life!
Liz, isn't OJ more acidic than PJ? Just wondering.
ReplyDeleteI like to eat oranges rather than drinking OJ. :)
I had no idea! Thank goodness we love OJ here!
ReplyDeleteI love fresh squeezed oj! There's nothing else like it.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog and I wanted to pass an award to you (you've been so kind to me). I hope you'll come over and check it out. :-D
Hi Liza.
ReplyDeleteI agree. OJ has more vitamin C than AJ, it´s great to prevent constipation.
I prefer AJ because OJ is to strong/acid for my stomach. What I really like is to mix. I mix orange with carrot or apple, sometimes the three, it´s really good. Have you tried mixing?
A good Wednesday xx
I like both but rarely drink either...
ReplyDeleteHi Liza, I like orange juice but I am worried about the calories. I'll prefer to drink water instead. Thanks for the tips, this is a good reminder for me to buy often for my children nutrition.
ReplyDeleteinteresting i had no idea, i kinda assumed apple would be better.
