  6. They are so pretty. None of my friends have been able to keep theirs out of doors because of raccoons. But they outgrow the indoor fishtanks. Happy WW

  7. You rear them? It's therapeutic to watch them swim.

  8. There's something about observing koi fish that brings me serenity. Thanks for this bit of peace on a chaotic Wednesday morning.

  9. Just wonderful Liza! I have a story about my neighbor and her attempt to have a Koi pond!

She lives just across the way and down just a tad from me. Her husband built her a nice little pond in her back yard because she wanted to have Koi!

Well, he didn't build the bank high enough. So every time it rained her pond flooded over, ran down the drainage ditch and into ours.

The first year she had her pond, every single time she would stock it, the rains would just pour.

Walter and me, along with my neighbors, would just stand and watch all of her Koi flooding into our pond!

There were literally hundreds, maybe more. That was a few years ago and she finally gave up.

I haven't seen any grown Koi in our pond. But, I am not sure I would as it is a deep pond.

I hope some of them survived!
    Happy day Liza!
