Paranoid

We visited a friend who lives in a sprawling estate. He had experienced intrusions in the past. One look at the place and you'd feel like you're in Area 51. The fences were high and bristling with barbed wire. Posted on the fences were dozens of no trespassing signs. Guard dogs patrolled the vast estate and sensors ringed the perimeter. We even suspected that the fences were electrified. The gate was remotely controlled. We found it to be overdone. We all know that we need to secure our homes but not like this.
