Clear Breakouts with Meadowsweet

Meadowsweet, a flower that belongs to the rose family, can fight breakouts and redness.  When steeped in a tea, the white creamy flower can help treat stomach upset, aches and pains, and fever.  The flowers are a rich source of vitamin C and salicylic acid, making it an excellent astringent.  When buying products to fight breakouts and rosacea, make sure you look for meadowsweet in the ingredients.  It can also be helpful in treating puffiness, swelling, cold sores, sunburn, dark circles, and itchy rashes.

  1. Meadowsweet sounds like a flower we should all be growing in our gardens--very useful. Mickie ;)
