It is wiser to grab a snack before you sip caffeine or alcohol. Drinking on an empty stomach encourages insulin to floodgate into the the bloodstream. According to studies, it activates cortisol, a fat-storing hormone. So if you can't live without your morning boost of caffeine, drink only after you nibble some food. It will help stabilize your blood sugar levels.

really? it's a good thing that i eat first before drinking coffee. just wish i can drink lesser coffee everyday:) getting addicted to it.
