The HCG Hormone as a Dietary Tool

HCG stands for human chorionic gonadotropin. It is a hormone that occurs in the body of pregnant women. It is made by cells that form in the placenta and feeds the egg once it is fertilized. A study performed by a British endocrinologist showed that using the HCG hormone in conjunction with a low-calorie diet proved to be highly effective in losing weight. A low calorie diet has been associated with muscle loss but when the HCG hormone was used together with a decreased calorie diet, the muscle loss was eradicated. Thus, the use of HCG as a weight-loss tool commenced.

HCG is said to suppress the food-cravings of a person who ingests the drops that contain the hormone. These drops are usually a blend of the hormone along with other ingredients, mostly amino acids that preserve the muscles but increases fat reduction or promote the burning of stored fat in the body. These amino acids boost the metabolism, aids in metabolizing fat, increases cortisol production which helps with weight loss, and controls the appetite. Together with these amino acids, the HCG drops that are used in conjunction with a low-calorie diet promote weight loss faster and more efficiently. Consider using the HCG drops as a dietary tool for a more effective weight loss program now.
