Beauty Secret (8) - Look Thin in a Jiffy


Going to a party?  If you need to squeeze into tight clothes or shoes on short notice, the trick is to cut back on salt and starchy foods for at least a day before the big day. Sodium and carbs (like bread, pasta, cereal, and bakery items) hold onto water, making your belly and feet swell. Stick to lean proteins and veggies so your tummy will be flatter and your shoes will pinch less.

Hi Liza,

Good tip for those who, being slim, tend to have swollen tummies.
But this won't work for chubby ladies...those, I'm afraid, will have to work their sweat and follow a healthy low carbs diet.
