Feed Your Skin with Tea Tree Oil
They say tea tree oil is a good antiseptic. You can use it on cuts and abrasions instead of using over the counter antibiotic ointment. The oil has been shown to kill bacteria and fungi. A lot people don't like the pungent smell of pure tea tree oil but I like the refreshing minty smell of this oil. Here are some of its uses.
Tea tree oil is a natural pimple fighter. It works more effectively than benzoyl peroxide lotion because it dries up pimple faster, with fewer side effects.
Tea tree oil has been shown to kill a type of yeast that's been linked to itchy, flaky scalp. Look for a shampoo that contains 5 percent tea tree oil shampoo for dandruff relief.
For skin infections, tea tree oil works as an antibacterial. A daily bath using 5 percent tea tree oil body wash is highly recommended by doctors to treat infections.

I used tea tree oil for my pimples before when I was younger. I love that it really dries up pimples fast. And it doesn't leave any marks on the face. :)
