Switch to Brown Rice
Brown rice is packed with lots of vitamins and minerals. This super food helps reduce the risk of breast, colon and other cancers. Eating at least 6 servings of brown rice in a week can help lower blood pressure and cholesterol level. This rice is very good for kids too. According to some experts, encouraging them to eat brown rice instead of our usual white rice decreases the risk of type 2 diabetes and childhood asthma.

brown rice is good
brown rice ang kanin namin :)
Brown rice is indeed good for the body. It's just that it's kinda difficult to cook because it takes more water to cook it. I remember the first time we cooked brown rice. First try it was so dry we almost burned the rice cooker. Second try, we put so much water that it looked like congee. Hahahahaha!
This is so true! Plus brown rice has more thiamine or vitamin b1! White rice or polished rice has lesser thiamine and if our body lacks thiamine we could develop a disease called beriberi.
Just thought of sharing this hehehe. Have a great week! ^_^
Just love how your posts are so filled with very useful information.

I love brown rice! It just cost so much for my family size. We are finding more and more that ANYTHING good for you is more costly. Like brown rice and wheat pasta. It's ridiculous!
