Feed Your Face with the Right Foods

Feeding your face with the right foods can make your skin glow and become blemish free. Oh, but you don't have to fuss in the kitchen all day to prepare great meals that's good for your skin. Whether you are in your home or in a restaurant, you can make healthier choices, for smoother skin and a tighter body. Things you should watch out for are salt because it can worsen under-eye bags and bloating; sugar because it breaks down collagen; and dairy because it has been linked to acne. Read on...

Watch your portions. Portions tend to be large in restaurants so as much as possible, don't try to eat it all up at once. Split it up with a friend or ask your server to put half your meal in a take-out container. Large servings mean there are more salt, sugar, fats and dairy in those meals, which can be bad for your skin and figure.

Steer clear of processed meals. Processed food have fewer nutrients but loaded with sugar, salt, and dairy.

Slow down with condiments. Cram-based dressings and sauces tend to be loaded with butter, cream, salt, and sugar. If there are no other dressing available, it's better to ask for dressings on the side and then dip your food into them. You will still get the flavor without irritating your skin, and you'll save on calories.

A Good Drum Rug

Keep your drums in place with meinl drumrug. Sure you can save on a cut carpet piece but they can be a pain to carry. A carpet is heavy while a drum rug is light and rolls up nicely. It also has a strap that holds it together so it's easier to carry. A drum rug is not expensive if that's what you're worried about. So, if you often go out for a gig, having one is a smart move.

Rent a Timeshare Giveaway

My family loves to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and spend at least a week to a place where we can relax, eat, enjoy and just simply forget about the real life for a while. But vacations mean spending money and as much as we would like to go at least two or three times a year, we can't afford it.

Then I heard about timeshare. It's a kind of investment where you can stay in a villa or condo for a week without having to pay for it. However, I found out that investing on a timeshare is still expensive and further research led me to timeshare rentals. You can still enjoy a luxury timeshare vacation without having to pay the purchase price of a timeshare. You simply need to find a timeshare owner who, for some reason, cannot use their week for that year and who wants to rent out their timeshare. Rents are usually lower compared to what you will pay for a cramped hotel room. Plus, you get to rent out a villa and not just a small hotel room. So, if you're looking for a place where your family can stay and you are in a budget, renting a timeshare is a great deal. Don't know where you can find affordable timeshare rentals? Check out Imagine how much you can save when you only have to pay so little for your accommodation? A lot!

Now, TimeShare Rentals and I want to spread the word by giving one lucky winner a Free two-Year RedWeek membership!

Annie's Macaroni & Cheese Gluten-Free Rice Pasta and Cheddar Review

You won't feel guilty when you eat gluten-free; that's what my sister always tell me. She knows I'm struggling with my weight and because of my age (the terrible perimenopause stage), losing weight has been really tough. I have read a lot about the gluten-free diet but, I was just too afraid to try because I also heard that gluten-free foods are bland. It's enough already that I've been cutting back on food and I'm exercising to death, but no bland foods for me PLEASE. Less on salt yes, but not completely tasteless.

I was hesitant to try Annie's Macaroni & Cheese Gluten-Free Rice Pasta and Cheddar flavor when my MamaVox Box from Influenster arrived. Although I saw it in the label that it's made with real cheese, it took a few days more before I finally decided to give it a try.

It looked gooey and really cheesy just the way I like my mac and cheese. It smells good too and even if it was still hot, I wanted to dig in right away. Well, it's tasty and not bland at all. Now I look at gluten-free in a different way. If all the others taste like this, I can survive eating gluten-free products.

Here are some reasons why Annie's mac and cheese is different:

  • 0g Trans Fat
  • Good Source of Vitamin B6
  • Good Source of Calcium
  • Vegetarian
  • No Artificial Flavors, Synthetic Colors, or Preservatives
  • Cheese from cows not treated with growth hormone rBST*

Dr. Scholl's Insoles For Her Review

Sashaying in high heels definitely makes you look glamorous, poised and sexy, but behind those great looks the heels are killing your feet. Looking sexy and poised in heels is not exactly a walk in the park. There is so much pressure on your feet and walking even a short distance could be torturous. I used to wear high heels a lot when I was younger and I know the feeling. But I was young and I didn't mind bearing the pain just as long as I looked fashionable.

I still wear them now but only on some occasions where I have to dress up formally. As much as possible, I try to avoid them because I don't want to torture my feet. Whenever I am in heels and nobody is looking, I would remove them and flex my toes to relax my feet. Yes, I know, you are trying to picture me doing that (haha), but who doesn't?

Then, friends from Influenster sent me a MamaVox Box. The first thing I saw when I opened it was a pair of Dr. Scholl's Insoles For Her.

Woohoo! I have something to put in my high heels so my feet won't hurt! Yeah, I've heard of insoles I just didn't want to buy because I seldom wear high heels.

I immediately tore the plastic pack and tried them on. Oh, it felt great! The comfort is impressive. I tried walking around the house for some time; the insoles are so soft and my feet didn't hurt at all. It felt like I can wear the shoes for a day. Why didn't we have these when I was younger?

I'd definitely recommend these if you love wearing high heels. It's a must-have accessory because they will protect your feet from possible injuries.
