Having a Shiny Hair

I am sure you have noticed that a lot of hair treatments and shampoos have added coconut milk in their ingredients. This is not only because of the milk's calming scent. According to the International Journal of Cosmetic Science, the coconut milk reduces hair damage by 62% better than other types of milk used in hair products. Coconut milk has the ability to bind strands and tighten hair's protein bonds so locks better and maintain strength and shine.

For super shiny hair here's what you should do... place a towel in a bowl of hot water. Shampoo your hair as usual. After rinsing, pour 1/2 cup of coconut milk over your head. Comb it down the length of your strands using your fingers and massage it into your scalp and along your hairline. Wring out the hot towel and wrap it around your head. Remove towel after 20 minutes and rinse hair. Doing this twice a week will give you super shiny hair.

Liza,

This is a great tip! I have put my granny drinking the orange peel tea and so far she is happy with it!
And now I will definitely try this one: we use a lot of coconut milk to cook, so it is quite familiar to us!

Thanks for the tip!

I wasn't able to come yesterday (myISP was in maintenance) so: yes, I had a great weekend! You said you had a busy yet great one: family gathering?

Wishing you a great week!
Cheers
