Haircut-Stroke Link

Have you had a haircut lately? If you haven't and you're planning to get one soon, read this first. Tilting your neck back too far during a salon shampoo increases your risk of stroke. You are probably wondering how, but I was surprised too when I read about it. Tilting the neck back may tear an artery and can alter blood flow to the brain. Should this happen, you could easily have a stroke. To avoid this, ask them to put a towel under your neck during shampoo to avoid tilting too far.

Gee ! I never heard of this before. What about those gymnasts who do all kinds of weird body positions? Pretty interesting though ! I better be careful the next time I get my haircut .

Thats a scary thought..I really don't like to lay back into a hairdressers basin, I feel like I am being choked.
