Can't sleep? Try this...

Has it ever happened to you that you are dead tired but when you're ready to sleep, you just can't? You're body is so tired but you're mind is still awake because you're thinking of the many tasks you have to do the next day. This simple trick I found is very effective so give it a try when it happens to you. Here's how to do it...

Using the heel of your open hand, rub the space between your eyebrows, imagining your worries gathering under your palm. Then exhale and float your hand away from your face. The trick will help release pent up energy. Pressing the third eye allows you to discharge all those racing thoughts and worries.

I usually just switch on the tv & let that do the job for me. I heard it's not good to sleep in front of the tv coz the mind will stay active even if your eyes are closed.

Great tip! I'll have to try it. Another trick I learned when I was a kid was this. If you are lying in bed and can not sleep close your eyes and say the alphabet in your head then count to 20 and again but backwards, then go back to the alphabet. Keep repeating this over and over. Eventually you will get so bored and all your worries will be forgotten and you will fall asleep. This works for me every time. I might have to try your suggestion along with this old trick. I do this when I couldn't sleep. Pero mas nahihilo ako kesa inaantok hahaha... Effective with the little kid at home, though :)
