Breakfast Really Counts

There is no question that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, that's where we get our energy to keep us going throughout the day. Here are more reasons why we should enjoy our eggs, sausages and croissant. I recently read that people who ate more in the morning ate less overall and gained less weight than those who skip breakfast. In a two different study, Texas researchers found out that people who eat 1 calorie less per day for every extra calorie they consume at breakfast. And UK researchers also found out that those who had 25 to 50% of their calories in the morning gained just over one and a half pounds.

I'm used to skipping breakfast but after reading this, I'm going to make changes.

I love breakfast and yes, it is the most important meal of the day. When we eat I'm told my my trainer that it jump starts our metabolism which helps. Since we've been sleeping all night without eating and if we didn't eat after 7 or 8 p.m. the night before, our body is definitely ready to handle some food. It's yummy too!

Luckily I heard the 'Breakfast is the most important meal of the day' some time ago, so I never skip it. I've heard that if you want to lose weight it's even more important to have a hearty breakfast.

Interesting statistics. I agree breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Some people say that they are just way too busy in the morning to eat. That's not a good excuse! Eating a balanced breakfast is very important. Thank you for sharing this!
