We Need More K

Vitamin K deficiency in women is on the rise.  That's from reports that say the common causes are stress and other factors.  The nutrient is essential for making osteocalcin, which acts as a glue that binds calcium to bones.  To increase levels of this important nutrient, eat more of the dark leafy greens like kale and spinach.  Adding them to your daily diet, you do not only protect your health but you get to enjoy a delicious food at the same time.

Don't forget that vitamin K is also the ingredient in the blood that causes it to coagulate ... without it or lack of it we would bleed to death!
