New In, Old Out
From time to time, we change some of our furniture. We would hold a garage sale and sell these along with other items we no longer use. People in our area as well as some people from other places come and browse through. My kids also sell stuff they don't need. The proceeds of the sale goes to their savings. We hold our garage sales usually at the start of every year. Toys are the easiest to sell as children come with their parents. My old sports equipment are also top sellers. Even old clothes are lapped up. Electronics gets the most attention and these are the most haggled items.
We're very careful with our things and anyone who buys them will sure be happy at how fresh our things are. These sales are also a great way to recycle and put smiles on other people's faces. No use hanging onto stuff other people might find useful.
