Pop that Corn

Did you know that popcorn is an ideal snack for those who are trying to lose weight?  Yeah, you read it right.  The favorite movie time snack is so filling that it can help sidestep food cravings.  Of course, you should stay clear of butter.  Don't feel bad because you can still enjoy it with a lot of other flavors.  Experts say cayenne pepper is the best because the capsaicin in this pepper will also boost your metabolism.  For those who can't take their popcorn hot, you can choose from other flavors like salt and vinegar, fiesta lime, smoky paprika, sweet n low, and many more.

The next time you crave for food, bring out that popcorn popper and start making a healthy snack before you ever think about all those high in fat, high in sugar, and high in salt snacks.  Aside from being healthy and filling, popcorn is a cheap snack.  You'll never get tired of it because with popcorn, the possibilities are endless.  My kids love mixing the spices and they come up with unique flavors. 

Stay away from microwave popcorn; they are usually loaded with salt, fat, and artificial flavoring.  Having your own popcorn machine at home will ensure that your family is always having a healthy and nutritious snack.
