Smooth Rough Feet

Do rough, dry, and cracked feet prevent you from wearing sandals?  Here's the fix.  Scrub it with Peppermint Patty Foot Scrub regularly to keep it soft and caressable again.  To do:  Soak your feet in warm water first for 10 to 15 minutes. Use a pumice stone or a foot file if the calluses are too thick.  Once you feel the skin is soft, massage the scrub in circular motion, making sure you concentrate on the roughest areas.  Rinse off with warm water, pat dry, then apply a rich foot cream.  You can also more olive or coconut oil instead of foot cream.  Slip on a pair of old socks to lock in the moisture.

Peppermint Patty Foot Scrub
  • 1 cup coarse sea salt
  • 5 tablespoons olive or coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint, minced
  • 3 drops peppermint essential oil (optional)

The abrasive sea salt is perfect for eliminating dead skin off your feet, while the olive or coconut oil helps soften calluses and repair cracks.

Oh, I do this every other night to keep my footsies scale free. I use old wool socks after the regiment to keep my feet moisturized.
