At-Home Facial

Need to give your skin some TLC? Nope, you don't need to go to a spa to get some pampering. You can get at home without spending much. Read on...


For a more relaxing facial, go ahead and light some candles and turn on some soothing music. And if possible, keep your gadgets away from you so you don't have to multitask while you're having your me time. Or better yet, turn them off and keep them in your purse.


Next, wash your face with a deep-penetrating cleanser to wash away makeup and oils, then use an exfoliating mask before going in the shower. The shower's steam will keep the mask active while you bathe. Or if you have an at-home steamer you can use it while you lie down and relax.



Follow up with a hydrating mask if your skin is dry, dry skin, a clarifying mask if your skin is oily or a brightening mask to bring back the glow. Leave it on for 15 minutes before rinsing with warm.



Lastly, apply a serum and moisturizer. Gently massage the serum on skin until it dries up, then follow up with a moisturizer.
