Review: Bentonite Indian Healing Clay

I was very excited when I was invited to review another product from Pure Body naturals. I've used some of their products and I like how they work on my skin. I like to exfoliate once in a while, but you know how expensive it could get when you visit the spa. So, the next best thing is a healing clay.

My Thoughts

I've tried a lot of mud masks, but this one is in powder form. I guess that is a good thing because you will only mix what you need and powders have a longer shelf life. I followed the instructions carefully and mixed 1 tsp of the powder with water. The paste was too thick, so I added more water. I was surprised that I had more than what I needed. The mixture I made was probably enough for 4 people. Next time, I should use just a quarter of a teaspoon.

So, together with my SIL, we applied the mask and waited for it to dry.

Twenty minutes later, our skin felt tight and we just loved the cooling effect. I washed my face as usual and I loved how my skin feels soft and smooth. I've used it a couple of times a week for two weeks and I noticed that my sun spots and acne marks have lightened. It also says in the description that it's great for acne and pimples as well. I will let my son use this and see if it will help clear his skin.

Overall, I like the healing clay and what it does to my skin. If you are looking for a good product to clean and revitalize your skin, this is a good buy.
