More on Chocolate

Can you imagine the world without chocolate? I can't! I live on chocolates and it has always been my emotional cure-all. I have published several articles about chocolates in this blog and it seems that I'll never run out of good things to say about this yummy treat. There was an electricity outage the whole morning of yesterday until the early afternoon due to typhoon Frank and I had the time to read some magazines using a candle, lol.

I found out that in the 18th and 19th centuries, confectioners in Europe dispensed chocolate like medicine. The delicious treat loved by all was often prescribed for fevers, chest pains and stomach illnesses. It was also predictably believed as a sure-fire cure for people trying to gain weight. Today, it is marketed in some countries as a health food.

Indeed chocolate not only brings satisfaction to everyone, we get lots of benefits from it. The only drawback is that it is loaded with calories.

Hmmm...I love chocolate. Only problem is that I break out every time I eat it. But I still indulge anyway!

If only they would dispense chocolate for medicine now I would live at the doctors. I didn't know all that about chocolate but I love it!

I love chocolates! Yup, they also have some medicinal value, besides the known fact that it's a good way to combat stress, it can really give you a lift when your energy is low, sad thing is it can also make you "heavy weight"...hehehe. Chocolates may have been the culprit to my gaining weight these days..

I love chocolate. If only it tasted good without all the added fat and sugar. Morning sickness has temporarily cured me of any chocolate craving for the time being :-(. I tried a piece the other day and it did not set well. Can't wait till I can have some more - in moderation :-).

chocolate + ice cream (good one like baskin n robbin) + donut (i prefer big apple donut) + caramel frappucino coffee blended (starbucks) = tongue heaven.
