Crispy French Toast
I am sure you already know by now that baking your french toast is a lot healthier instead of frying. But baking doesn't make the crust crispy like the ones cooked in stove top with tons of butter.
To make it crunchy, dredge the egg-and-milk-soaked bread slices in crumbled cornflakes. Cook in 500 degrees farenheit oven for 10 minutes, turning once. The flakes sear in a flash so you get the fried texture without the extra fat.
