Knowing your best time

Are you having troubles exercising consistently? I have read that it might not have anything to do with motivation. The key is to know your best time of the day to exercise and check your body's clock before deciding when to work out. For example, if you wake up really early, a brisk walk at dawn is a great way for you to start the day. For those who don't rise up early but don't stay up for late night talk shows, you're at best between lunch and dinner time. So it will be best to plan your exercise time for the late afternoon or the early evening before supper. Those who like to stay up until after midnight and then sleep late in the morning, are not ready for workout until after dinner. Just don't try exercising two hours before your bedtime because your elevated body temperature can interfere with a good night's sleep.

Knowing your best time of the day to exercise can help you achieve your goal.

To know the best time...but how should I make that time free? :) I guess in my case it's around 10am and then around 4-5 pm. Not very pleasant time. So it seems I will have to stick to my usual 7pm...
Take care! Nice blog!

I think you are so right. I went for a run last week, straight out of bed, and I felt soo sluggish like running through the mud.

Had I waited an hour or so, I'm sure my run would have felt much better.

It's just that I don't trust myself to have 'a good time to run'. I always have to conquer my inner lazy goddess...

Hey Liza,

Oh yeah...this is so true!! My perfect time is right before lunch and then at the end of the day. I tried exercising in the morning and in the afternoon and it doesn't work for me.

Well done!

I hope all is well with you, darling! Did you have a good weekend?

Wishing you a great week!

Cheers
