iLasik, The Cheaper Solution

My husband underwent a Lasik eye surgery many years ago. LASIK was just recently introduced in our country then, and he was one of the first people who took the surgery. We immediately decided upon it because of his progressive myopia. For a long time, he wore contact lenses and prescription glasses. His eye refraction then was 1020 (left eye) and 1010 (right eye), without them, he is almost blind. Another factor that made it really difficult for him was, he's allergic to soft lenses. He can only make do with hard lenses, which he had to remove every night. At that time, Lasik surgery was very expensive, but my in-laws helped us with the expenses. The surgery has done wonders to his eyes, it relieved him from all the troubles of having to wear thick specs and contact lenses.

Now, it's my daughter who is myopic, and yes, hubs and I are seriously considering iLASIK (modern lasik) for her. He's been there and he knows how hard it is to be wearing glasses and contact lenses. The surgery is costly and we are still saving for that, but if you will consider the cost of eyeglasses, contact lenses and solutions, you'll be surprised to know that you'll save a lot of money in the long run. You don't believe me? Click on the link and try to calculate your lifetime cost of wearing contacts.
