Battle Against The Rash
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Boudreaux's Butt Paste. All opinions are 100% mine.
What could be more irritating to your baby's skin than diaper rash? But having the red, itchy bumps is a normal part of being a baby, and my babies (I have two) were not spared from it. My mom told me to change my baby's diaper frequently, every two hours if possible. And if the baby pooped, change it right away so the rash will not get more irritated. I also made sure to wipe all the stool and urine away before putting on a new diaper. I applied petroleum jelly on the rash. I'd say it was a temporary relief because it will go away for a while and then come back again if I didn't change the diaper right away.
Back then, there weren't too many choices so I had to make do with petroleum jelly. Specially formulated creams like Boudreaux's Butt Paste were not yet available. Unlike petroleum jelly, it's less sticky and less messy and it gives immediate relief to irritated skin. My SIL is using it now for Nikki. She got her free sample when she visited the website. I've also seen it at Oprah and how I wished it was already available when my kids were still babies. It could have saved me a lot of of diapers, and more importantly, the panic I felt every time time they cried because of skin irritation.
