Tempura Japanese Grill

Snapped inside Tempura, a popular Japanese restaurant here in Manila. Their Uncle Sam's Maki is my favorite.

DIY Exfoliant

There are many ingredients from your kitchen that can be used to make natural and delicious-smelling face, body, and foot scrubs at home. Here's a recipe for a facial scrub.

Simple Cinnamon-Vanilla-Oatmeal Facial Scrub

1/4 cup oatmeal
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons honey
1 tablespoon plain yogurt

Durable and Excellent Mics

It's wiser to buy yeti microphone than buy cheap ones that wouldn't last very long. Being in the videoke rental business for long lets you know what brands really work. This mic is one of them. In my kind of business the microphones are replaced very often because clients often drop them, but this brand is more durable. The ones we bought last year are still in excellent condition.

Pleasurable Coffee Breaks with Aroma Coffee Midwest

The office is always a stressful place and employees need to take breaks from these stresses several times during the day to re-energize. The universal stress buster is, of course, coffee breaks. Most everyone loves coffee and when it gets tough at the work place, workers find these aromatic and delicious beverages soothing and calming. It is a welcome breather from the pressures related to their work and it gives them time to relax and take a few minutes off from stressful situations. These few minutes allow them the opportunity to take a step back from the problem they are encountering in the work place so that they can go back to it rejuvenated and in a better disposition.

Employers recognize the advantages and importance of coffee breaks so most supply their employees with a coffee service that they can run to in moments of stress. This special service requires that they find cost-effective yet delicious blends that can calm the stressed nerves of their employees so that the latter can continue to be productive throughout their work day. This is easier said than done, though, but with Aroma Coffee Midwest, LLC, the problem is easily solved because they have over 30 years of experience in providing office coffee service programs to meet all your coffee needs. They can provide this service to small and large companies in Minneapolis, St. Paul and the Upper Midwest and can meet all your coffee requirements. The most popular choice for these essential office coffee service programs is their decaf ground coffee varieties which are affordable and easy to make but are superior in quality and taste. Their aim is to provide a complete line of products for all office coffee related products that can be ordered easily and conveniently through their website by their clients. Control Skin's Shiny Look with Rice Water

Is your skin too oily? To stop shine, skin experts recommend reaching for a homemade toner made from rice water.

To do: Simply soak 1/4 cup of uncooked white rice in 1 cup of water for 20 minutes. Swish the grains around, then strain off the liquid, put into a spray bottle and stash it in the fridge or your purse. Give your face a spritz as needed and blot off any excess. Compounds in the rice help normalize sebum production and results will be seen a few days after use; your skin will be less oily. You can keep the water in the fridge for 5 days.

The Plan Saved Her from Spending More

My sister is so relieved that she had a dental insurance. If not for that, she would have spent more than a thousand dollars for a single porcelain crown. Oh yeah, that's how much she would be charged if she didn't have a plan. She lives in New York and if you're familiar with their dental services, you know it could get too expensive.

She had some reservations when it was first offered to her by a friend. She didn't believe in a life insurance more so, a dental plan. She is so glad that for some reason, her friend was able to convince her to purchase the plan for a year. Just a couple of months have passed after she bought the plan that her dentist told her that she needed a porcelain crown for one of her molars. The price was a hefty $1500. The plan she got really help and she only paid for $500.

What she thought was an added expense actually turned out to be a great blessing to her. She subscribed to an insurance plan that covers dental packages. She plans to continue with the plan because now she realized how big a help it could be.

Prom Night

My son and his date right before going to the prom. I've been meaning to post this photo right after their prom last February 2 but it slipped my mind.

Dibs' Collar

Training a dog? Try the sportdog training collars. We had once a very nasty German Shepherd and hubs tried this on him. He can be a very stubborn dog especially when someone he doesn't know is around. He also has a high tolerance for pain. Hubs set it on one but nothing happened. He didn't even flinch on that but when he adjusted it to two, the dog reacted and followed my husband's commands right away. Dibs became a good dog because of this.
