Switched to Swish!
I got several bottles of Swish Mouthwash courtesy of Unilab from the mail yesterday morning for evaluation purposes. I have never tried this mouthwash before because the husband and the kids prefer the more popular brand. We all love to eat; at home or out, and there are times simply brushing teeth is not enough, so a mouthwash is a must. The opportunity to review Swish is a great chance to try other brands. Besides, I was already considering switching to other brands because the one we're using has gotten too expensive already.

My Opinion
Right after having lunch, I brushed my teeth and tried the Choco Mint flavor. My sister, who's here for a short vacation requested for Kare-Kare and bagoong (shrimp paste) for lunch. Unlike the brand that I'm used to, I was surprised that it didn't burn my mouth. I love the hint of chocolate and mint in the mouthwash! Plus, the effect is long lasting. Hours after I've used it, I still have fresh breath.
I also had with me the small bottle of the Mangosteen Mint when we went out with friends last night at 8 Cuts in U. P. Town Center where we had burgers, fries and onion rings. Gargled with the mouthwash after eating and voila! Fresh-smelling breath in an instant!
The whole family loves it, too, and we can't wait to try the other flavor sent to me -- Cinnamon Blast. We're definitely switching to Swish!
Pros
Like I mentioned earlier, it has a pleasant taste, it doesn't burn mouth and has a long lasting effect. All their mouthwashes are free of alcohol, so they're healthy and safe for anyone. Swish doesn't only kill bad breath-causing bacteria, it also prevents the build-up of plaque, gum disease and tooth decay.
Cons
I didn't find anything I didn't like about the product.
Recommendation
It's the LOVE month and you're out with a romantic date with your special someone, you definitely wouldn't like to be caught with a foul-smelling breath after dining out. And while any other brands can give you fresh breath, Swish tastes really great and is pleasant in the mouth. It's affordable and easily available in drugstores, groceries and other specialty stores.
