Product Review: Indian Healing Clay by MajestiC Pure Cosmeceuticals

I was recently sent a sample of Indian Healing Clay by MajestiC Pure Cosmeceuticals via Tomoson. I like using a mud mask once every two weeks to exfoliate and rid my face of dead skin cells. This will be my first time, though, to use a clay in powder form.

Directions
For facial, mix 3 parts of water to one part clay well to a smooth paste. Apply to skin and let dry for about 2o minutes. For sensitive skin, reduce time to half. Wash with warm water to remove the clay. Use it once a week to keep your skin beautiful and refresh. Do not use a metal bowl or spoon.

My Opinion

I followed the instructions for the face mask and mixed 1 tablespoon of powder to 3 tablespoons of water. It took me a lot of work to mix it together to get a smooth consistency. If you don't mix it well, your paste will have lumps. The three of us used it; my sister-in-law, my niece and me. There were still some paste left for another person after we've applied the mixture on our faces, so this jar will go a long way. I struggled a bit with the application because maybe, the paste is too thick. I should have added a bit more water to thin it for easier application.

It felt cold on the face upon application and my skin felt very relaxed. I can feel my skin tightening while waiting for it to dry. After 20 minutes, I washed with warm water. As soon as I patted my skin dry, I can feel how soft and silky smooth my face has become. My skin feels very refreshed and super clean. I have enlarged pores near my T zone and I'm hoping the clay will help minimize them.

Overall, I had a nice experience with the clay. It's all natural and will not irritate the skin. If you are wanting to detoxify and pamper your skin, this product is definitely worth giving a try.

Where to buy?
