Advantages of Fractionated Coconut Oil

Coconut oil has long been used all over the world for its many therapeutic and other benefits to the skin. It has antiviral and antibacterial properties, a wonderful balance of saturated fats in its natural form and helps stimulate hair growth. Many aromatherapy recipes use coconut oil for the various therapeutic benefits it offers. Fractionated coconut oil is a fraction of the coconut oil from which almost all the long chain triglycerides are removed, thus leaving mainly the medium-chain triglycerides and making it an absolutely saturated oil. This saturation gives it a very long shelf life and greatly increased stability. In addition, fractionating raises the comparative concentration of Capric acid and Caprylic acid, thus giving it more of antioxidant and disinfecting effect.

My Thoughts

I am used to the delicious scent of coconut oil. I usually associate it with our native delicacies because coconut milk or oil was used to make them. Although I love its scent and I am aware of its many benefits, I never liked using it on my hair and skin because I never wanted to smell like food. This coconut oil from Majestic Pure, on the other hand has no scent. Using it to moisturize my skin and hair won't be a problem.

Just like with the virgin coconut oil we used to make at home, the Fractionated Coconut Oil has no expiration date, meaning, this has a very long shelf life. I love that it does not leave a greasy look and it makes both my skin and hair feeling soft and smooth. Another thing that I noticed about this oil is it doesn't turn solid at all. The instructions say you can mix it with other essential oils, so I tried mixing it with peppermint oil and massaged it on my tired feet. It was soothing and it made my feet feel silky smooth and soft.

Overall, I had a great experience with the oil. If you are looking for a more natural product to moisturize the skin, I recommend this coconut oil.

Where to buy?

You can purchase the Fractionated Coconut Oil through the Majestic Pure Cosmeceuticals website and on Amazon. The oil is fairly priced at $16.50.
