Melt Off Holiday Fats

Well, the holidays are finally over and here's great news to those who [like me] packed on extra pounds over the last weeks. A tropical fruit cleanse featuring papaya and pineapple can melt off 7 pounds in one day. It's because of papaya's papain and the pineapple's bromelain, both are enzymes that fight fat. They work hand in hand to break down protein to reduce abdominal bloat and dissolve fat-trapping waste in the circulatory system for fast elimination. The combo also revs fat-burning liver function and neutralizes inflammatory compounds to reduce gut inflammation.

For a one-day cleanse, here's what you need: cut at least 4 peeled papayas and 2 peeled pineapples into small chunks, place in a bowl and chill. Munch on these fruits whenever hunger strikes. Don't forget to drink at least 2 liters of water throughout the day. This seems very easy to do, so I'm definitely going to give it a try because I don't think I can last the one-day fluid only cleanse.

Hi Liza,

This one I already knew! I remember eating this when I was a chubby teenager lol...only I didn't drink the 2 litres of water at the time (perhaps that was why it took time for me to lose weight).

Now, I drink 1,5L of water everyday (sometimes more)...

However, I will try this combination (to cleanse the sweets I ate during the festivities LOL)! Thanks, once again, darling!

I wish you a great week ahead...

Cheers

We did this on Wednesday. My husband lost 4.5 lbs! I only lost .5 lbs, but the bloated feeling went away and my stomach definately looked smaller. It was pretty easy to do and the papaya helped keep the acid from the pineapple down. The only thing I didn't do was drink enough water - which might have been why I didn't lose a much! I plan on doing it again next week and drinking the required water.
