The tama cya5e cymbal attachment at guitar center saved Jim from not performing this weekend. He had a collision accident a couple of weeks ago, he was unscathed, but the drum set was inside the compartment. Some parts were damaged, including the cymbal attachment. He had to replace the parts asap for their gig this coming Saturday. It was the attachment that was hard to find. Good thing a friend told him that it was available at guitar center.

For thicker, longer hair

Problem thin hair? Try these easy tips to get longer, thicker hair.

Get a haircut. Go for a cut that's a bit shorter than you might like the first time. Dry split ends should be eliminated so that your hair will grow thick and beautiful. Getting rid of those unsightly split ends will make your hair healthy and grow thicker.

As your hair grows in, make sure you get regular trims (every 6 to 8 weeks) to keep hair healthy, strong, and in the best condition to get longer and thicker.

Do not overwash hair. Washing too often pulls the strands, damages the scalp, and rids your hair of the natural oils that are essential for growing longer, thicker hair.

Gently condition hair every day. Apply conditioner generously and massage into scalp for 3 to 5 minutes. Put extra conditioner on the ends and leave in after rinsing. Use warm water and a cool rinse. Don't use hot water on hair!

Use a wide-toothed comb to detangle hair.

Avoid using the hairdryer too often. If you must use it, just blow-dry hair lightly.

Avoid using curlers, hot rollers, curling irons, or straightening irons. These gadgets will cause hair to dry out, and can’t grow longer than its damaged ends.

Use a hot oil treatment or hair mask once a week to nourish hair.

Avoid permanent waves or straightening treatments. While these may give the illusion of longer, thicker hair temporarily, they damage hair and prevent it from growing thicker and longer on its own.

He bought an Amp, too.

I was only talking about how my son loves the guitar he saw online and while shopping, he also saw the exceptional fishman amp that will perfectly go with it. He has saved all his Christmas cash gifts for a guitar. The one he found was very affordable that is why he has extra money for the amp. Waiting really pays off. He has seen a few guitars before but his dad told him to wait and check some more. I'm glad that he did.

Review: WooBamboo Eco Friendly Toothbrushes

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I was recently given a chance to review this awesome toothbrush and I was very excited when the samples arrived on my doorstep. Most of us have switched from using plastic bags to reusable bags or brown bags that are biodegradable, so why not with our toothbrush?

The WooBamboo Eco Toothbrushes that were sent to me are just as stylish as the regular landfill-cluttering plastic toothbrushes that we get in the stores, but unlike the plastic ones, these are eco friendly. They are made with bamboo that's sustainable, organically grown, biodegradable, antimocrobial, and panda-friendly.

I like that it's sleek and easy to handle and the bristles are soft. There are actually two handles to choose from , the slim handle and the standard handle. For the bristles, you can opt for the soft, medium or super soft bristles. I have to give credit to the makers of this toothbrush for choosing bamboo instead of using other woods. During my research, I found out that bamboo is naturally resistant to bacteria. I'm sure you know that numerous kinds of bacteria grows in the mouth and how fast they multiply; using a bamboo toothbrush is a great idea. And you don't have to worry that bamboos are cut to make toothbrushes, this plant grows really fast so whatever is cut will be replenished pretty quickly.

If you're looking for a toothbrush that is gentle on your gums and cleans teeth thoroughly, I suggest you get the WooBamboo Eco Toothbrushes. I absolutely love this product and I highly recommend it to my readers. I'm actually thinking of buying more for the whole family.

You can read more about the eco friendly toothbrush by visiting their website and get regular updates on Facebook and Twitter.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Cheap Guitar

I was finally able to convince my son to check the sdx at musicians friend. He and his friends have been going around the metro looking for a good guitar. All of the guitars they've seen are pricey. He was surprised with the prices when he checked online. He's so glad that I told him about Musicians Friend. I wouldn't know about this if not for my blogging assignments. :)

Suffering from dry skin?

Use emu oil. It's natural and it's odorless and contains a rare combo of linolenic acid, linoleic acid and oelic acid, a skin-softening trio that's easily absorbed. And unlike baby oil, emu oil penetrates deeply because it lacks phospholipids, compounds that cling to skin's outermost layer. Plus, emu oil's linolenic acid is a natural painkiller shown to ease muscle aches within minutes of application.

How to Hide a Pimple

Need to hide a pimple? Here are some tips that worked out well for me. Never squeeze pimple if there is no whitehead. It could be too deep to drain and will only result to scarring if you try to squeeze it.

If there is a whitehead you can try squeezing it gently. Do it at night so it has time to shrink before morning. Cover it with a Band-Aid to prevent scabbing.

Wash with cold water instead of using warm or hot water. This can redden the pimple and add to the inflammation. Applying a moistened cotton bud with a drop or two of Visine can sometimes help reduce redness and swelling.

Before applying makeup, pat the area dry, then apply concealer.

Review: Aiming To Inspire a Nation Home Fragrances

As I was typing away on my keyboard the man beside me was talking in his sleep. Apparently, he was dreaming of Palawan and heard him say he can smell sea and flowers combined with green and woody notes. Haha! I nudged him awake to tell him he is not just dreaming of paradise, but he is actually smelling Palawan. With a puzzled look, he sniffed and smiled.

I was recently sent some samples of ATIN (it means "ours" and it stands for Aiming To Inspire a Nation). It's a line of home fragrances that aims to bring you the finest scents of the Philippines. And what are the scents of the Philippines, in case you're wondering? Woody, fruity, tropical, the smells of flowers and of course, the sea. Yup, the young girl behind ATIN made scents to remind you of what the country is famous for: Palawan, Boracay, Intramuros, Sampaguita and Mango Tree and bottled it up! How cool is that?

image borrowed from ATIN website

What's even more surprising is that the owner of ATIN, Sabrina Co, is only 17 years old. Her passion for perfumery inspired her to create the unique scents of ATIN; fragrances that represent our country. Using only the finest of ingredients, Sabrina has created 12 scents that will remind you of the best scents of the Philippines: Palawan, Sampaguita, Boracay, Mango Tree, Intramuros, Burnham Park, Hardin, Fruit Market, Milagrosa, Coconut Palm, Dalandan and Pina (pineapple). I got the Palawan fragrance and I just love how it smells, but it's the Fruit Market scent I'm most curious about. I can just imagine how sweet the smell can be just thinking of melons, ripe mangoes, pineapples, guavas and all those citrus fruits blended all together.

What I love about ATIN?

First, the packaging is world-class.  I love how every item was packaged delicately using brown paper and cardboard materials. In short, SOSYAL! That's how Filipinos call something that looks beautiful and expensive. I'm not sure though, if the materials were recycled, but if they were, then that's even greater.

I was sent the reed diffusers, soy wax candle and room and linen spray. I tried the reed diffusers in our room. I poured some liquid inside the Amber bottle, placed the reeds into the bottle and let them sit for about 15 minutes.

I flipped over the reeds and the room started smelling like Jasmine and the sea with hints of greens and woods. That was hours ago already and I only flipped them once, but the scent still lingers in the room. So for this, a little goes a long, long way.

Same goes with the room and linen spray that I used in the other room; the fragrance stayed for hours.

As for the soy wax candle, I have not lit it up, yet. But the whiff of Jasmine when I took a sniff is simply irresistible.

What I don't like about ATIN?

I honestly don't find anything that I don't like about these products. The packaging is super and the scent is heavenly.

Would I recommend it?

Absolutely! It's great not just for home use but a wonderful gift as well. Even tourists who visit and loved the country can bring along with them the best scents of the Philippines in a bottle!

ATIN fragrances are available in scented soy wax candles, automatic air fragrance dispenser, reed diffusers and room and linen sprays. You can purchase them at all Kultura Concept Store branches in Mall of Asia, Makati Annex, Megamall A and SM Aura Premier. For more information about these wonderful products, please visit the ATIN website, or like them on Facebook or follow on Twitter for updates.

ATIN supports Jollibee's Busog, Lusog, Talino (BLT) school feeding program so every purchase means you're helping feed some school children.

I'll be hosting a giveaway for ATIN products soon, so please watch out for it.

It was great that gave me a chance to review one of their creations. I chose the Diamond Flower Pendant. I have to tell you that all their collections are gorgeous and there are even more expensive pieces than the necklace that I picked, but I chose this because it's simple and it's so me. ;)

Product Description

Clusters of shimmering diamonds totaling 1/8 ct line petals filled with bands of 14K pink gold in a setting of sterling silver. Piece measures 1 by 3/4 inches. Earrings That Make You Dazzle

Women love wearing all kinds of earrings because they make them look beautiful and pretty, but do you know that wearing the right set can make you even more dazzling? Read on to find the perfect earrings for you.

Heart Face

Chandelier earrings like these gorgeous Pink Tequila Red Drop Earrings I found at Zalora add width that visually "fills in" a narrow chin and balances a wide forehead.

Round Face

Long, linear drops draw the eye up and down, which optically elongates the face and slims cherubic cheeks.

Square Face

Oversize hoops embellished with light-reflecting crystals visually soften the strong angles of a square jawline and minimize its width.

Long Face

Short "cluster" earrings add width at the center of the face, beautifully balancing its length.
