    Youth From The Bottle

For as long as we can remember, our moms told us to take our vitamins. Well it turns out that they were right after all. A new study shows that taking multivitamins may actually make your cells younger. The experts found out that the cells of those who popped multis had a younger biological age than those who didn't take the vitamins. While they still have to determine which specific nutrients are responsible for youthful cells, they are quite positive on the C and E. So there, I hoped you listened well when your mom told you to pop that pill. :)

    Every Penny Counts

With the economy yet to recover, people have become more conscious about prices. They now try to squeeze out the most of their earnings. People now seek out every discount there is on the market. One way to get people to spend more is through the issuance of Discount Codes by shops and retailers. Spending heavily influences the economy so the only logical way to do this is to entice the buying public to spend.

This discount form varies from shop to shop. It maybe in the form of coupons, vouchers, cheques or though minimum purchases. Whatever the way discounts are given, it is always welcomed by the consumers. Having discounts sales are seasonal that is why many retailers opt for discount codes. Mostly unrestricted, consumers prefer this form than sales. Consumers have more control of how they choose to utilize them. Rather having sporadic jumps in profit, shops have more consistent profits through these codes.

They can be distributed though various means. The more conventional is through the print medium. With more people going online, shops now issue these through advertisements through the internet usually through their websites or through second and third party sites. Whatever means the consumer gets their discount, it benefits both buyer and seller.

    Loving The Art

It was only after my first child was born when I discovered my passion for arts and crafts. During my younger years, my art projects either turned into a disaster or they were just not good enough. But I still managed to get a passing score, haha. It was my SIL who introduced me to the world of crafts. I started with cross stitching when I volunteered to help her out with the hundreds of bookmarks she had to sew for my BIL's wedding. I realized then that I could really do it, and the rest was history.

Being a hobbyist has introduced me to the wonders of arts and crafts. I have tried needlepoint and embroidery as well. It turned out that I have the hands for it, or so my SIL says. I also tried working with beads, candle making, soap making, and just very recently, pottery. At first I though it was just like getting your hands covered with mud and turning it into a wonderful piece of art, but I was wrong. Pottery is not simply working with clay but with ceramics as well. And for you to be able to indulge in such art work, you must have the right tools, pottery supply and finishes too. And in my search for supplies, I have discovered AMACO/Brent, a really cool shop that will cater to everything I would need to enjoy my new found hobby.

If you are into this kind of craft, you may want to visit their website. They have a wide inventory of products you would be needing in your quest for true pottery -- potters wheels, slump molds, brushes, tools, kilns, glass products, wheel replacement parts, majolica glazes and many more.

I'm still a beginner and I have yet a long way to go to master the craft but with all these cool materials, I am so sure I am going to enjoy the art of pottery big time.

Laugh Your Way To Better Health

Deadlines, stress, problems, bills, kids tormenting each other and sometimes annoying colleagues can give you the headache. So instead of letting all these win and put you down, find ways to laugh. The best cure for stress is to lighten up and laugh out loud. When you hear a great laugh, it gets you going too, it's contagious. If you hear two people laughing at a joke you didn’t hear, you are more likely to smile or laugh. Laughing, even if you are faking it, offers body-wide benefits. Practice it on a regular basis and you'll have more energy, you'll feel less stressed and you'll develop better relationships with others. Laughing out loud will not only help us handle stress, it has wonderful effects on our heart, immune system and more.

When you are happy and you have a lighthearted approach to life, chances are you will easily handle difficult situations. Don't know where to start? Try watching a comedy flick or go out with your friends and see LMAO Off-Broadway. It's an interactive musical comedy that's the latest craze in NY. A funny movie or a musical comedy will surely keep you going.

Laugh your way to good health, to more energy, to less stress, and to build stronger relationships with others. And most importantly, laugh your way to look younger.

    Caribbean Escape

One of the places hubs and I dream of visiting someday is the Caribbean. If only we had the funds to get away right now and enjoy an all inclusive vacation, we would. But we are not giving up on this Caribbean vacation. Hopefully in a few months we will have our dream. My daughter is graduating from college next month and after that, things will be easier with only one child left to send to school.

Meanwhile, we contain ourselves viewing the seductive beauty of the Caribbean through the web. Who wouldn't want an all inclusive vacation package and still travel in style, bask in the sun, take a dip in the beautiful deep blue waters, and just enjoy the breathtaking views of the island? With its perfect climate and picturesque pristine beaches, no wonder it's one of the world's most renown vacation spots.

Ahhh Caribbean, the great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city might just be a dream right now. But soon... we'll enjoy your beauty.

    At home Spa

Right after exercise or whenever you feel your body needs pampering, try this soothing scrub. Blend 1/2 cup of sugar with 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil and a tablespoon of vitamin E oil (you can pierce several vitamin gel capsules). Rub the mixture into your skin starting with your limbs (one a t a time) and then over the rest of your body, using upward strokes. When you're done applying the mixture, prepare a cool bath.

Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of mineral-based foaming bath, and you won't need a lotion afterward. Relax in the tub for 10 to 15 minutes. The process will not only ease tensed muscles but will also leave your skin feeling soft and smooth.

    Beautiful Nails

Want to know the secret to beautiful nails? GRAPES! Yes, you read it right. These sweet gems are rich in malic acid, a mild alpha hydroxy acid that breaks down the dead surface cells that dull skin.

Here's what you should do: Slice five grapes in half and dip the fleshy sides in sugar, then use to massage the skin around each nail (one for each finger) for about 30 seconds. Wipe away excess sugar with a soft damp towel.

The grape's juice will instantly hydrate the skin around your nails while the sugar gently sloughs away rough patches and hangnails.

    Dry, Itchy and Reddened Skin

Skin being the largest organ is the most exposed part of our body. It is prone to many substances that could lead to various forms of skin disorder. Just like eczema for example, it can simply be triggered by some substances that come in contact with the skin -- soaps, cosmetics, clothing, detergents, jewelry, or even sweat. Dry, itchy (sometimes burning), and reddened skin are the most common symptoms. Eczema can be treated and with proper skin care, it can be avoided.

    Cravings

Now that I have an appetite suppressant, my way to thin will be much easier than it used to. My metabolism is so slow, it seems that everything I take in is stored in my body, for good! A thirty minute a day work out is not enough to lose unwanted pounds. I knew somehow, I needed something to stop my cravings. So after contemplating on it, I've decided to give it a try. I will start taking it tomorrow with high hopes that it will work. I'll let you know what happens. :)

    Have You Used Phentermine?

With the rave many women are making about phentermine, I'm not surprised that even with the scary possible side effects of the pill, it's still on the top ten most popular pills. Some women claim that it burns fat effectively and it produces other benefits in terms of weight loss. But losing as much as 20 pounds in one month is not healthy. And since phentermine contains stimulants it can highly be addictive. Too much of this substance may pose future health problems. If you really feel the need to take appetite suppressants, do your homework well. Read reviews and find out if the pill you want contains ingredients that are safe.

    Pills That Work

If there is anything you don't need right now, it's a diet pill that don't work. But the million dollar question is, how do you find the right one with all the thousand products that are out in the market? Should you go for the popular and expensive ones? Popular and expensive do not always mean they're good. If you click here, you'll find out that there are effective diet pills that surprisingly cost less. I'm quite sure about this one because the products they offer are thoroughly researched and were reviewed by satisfied and happy users. Click now to find out more.

    Time To Change

Have you heard about differin? It's a cream that contains vitamin A that works to clear acne. The cream claims to stop acne in the early days of treatment and penetrates deep into the pores to help them stay unclogged, ensuring acne won't come back. My daughter's friend recommended this to her and she has been using it for about a month now. Her skin just improved a little. Although she has not experienced any side effects, it doesn't seem to work well for her. I told her it's time to stop and just go back to treating acne with tea tree oil, or look for other acne creams. Tea tree oil worked well for me and since it's natural, I won't have to worry about side effects.

    Treating Fungus

In my older posts Beating Acne... and Warts and Plants To The Rescue, I have told you about how tea tree essential oil can help get rid of acne and warts. Here's another great use I found about the oil... you can use it to treat fungus. Toenail fungus is when your toenail becomes thicker, turns dingy yellow, pulls away from the skin or develops crumbling edges.

To treat it, use a cotton swab to apply 100 % tea tree oil to the affected area for six months. Recent studies have shown that the antifungal compounds found in the oil killed fungus spores as effectively as chemical-based meds. While treating with oil, you may also try soaking your feet in a mouthwash bath for 30 minutes. Just fill a basin with two gallons of warm water and 1/4 cup of antiseptic mouthwash.

Fungus loves to thrive on warm, moist environments, so avoid walking barefoot on wet floors, pool decks, public showers or locker rooms. And be careful when having a pedicure in a salon, the basins and drains should be disinfected as well as the instruments.

    How Does Your Garden Grow?

Have you been dreaming of a lush garden makeover, only to wake up with a barren yard? Well then, you may need some help from the experts. If you have no idea on how to plan a landscape that you could maintain single-handedly, Wickes can help you how and where would you begin. I'm not actually talking about hiring an expert, you can find tips and guides from the website on how to create a beautiful garden.

A too exposed garden is not such a good idea for your plants especially for young growth. The cold winds can be severely damaged your young plants and may cause a great deal of root disturbance. While shrubs and trees may provide you privacy and shelter, Garden Fencing also play an important role. Garden fences will not only give you privacy and protect your plants, it can create different rooms, be a divider and it can add great drama to your garden. Building a fence is not actually as difficult and expensive as it may seem. At Wilkes, you can find fencing panels, fencing posts, garden edgings, trellis, gravel boards, and fencing accessories at affordable prices.

Start creating a landscape that matches your personality or theme garden, click on the link now.

    He Wants To Ride Again

When my husband was younger, he loved taking road trips with some of his friends. He and his friends liked exploring and going around the different provinces here in the north. So whenever they have free time, they would ride their bikes and try to appreciate the beauty and culture of the islands. Often, he would tell us stories of their wonderful adventures. Well, not all are wonderful, there are some misadventures too. That was about twelve years ago, he has not been riding since some of his friends migrated in the US.

But he wants to ride again, his passion for bikes was never forgotten. In fact, he has been working on his old bike and hoping he can resurrect it to its old glory, (haha). A new bike is not in the budget at this time. I've seen him checking out some Motorcycle Jackets, helmets, biker boots, and Leather Pants & Chaps. His old helmet is faded and scratched and his gears don't fit anymore.

He knows how I disagree about him riding again, it's not that I don't trust his abilities, it's those "crooked" drivers out there that I don't trust. But I'd like to give him some time for himself. He's not getting any younger and I'd like him to enjoy what he used to love doing.

    No More Double Chin

I'm sure you want to look your prettiest in every photo, but that double chin keeps on showing up. To nix it, the secret is to take a deep breath when the photographer sets up the shot. Then as the camera clicks, exhale with a sigh and smile widely. This trick will tighten the lower half of your face, nixing the appearance of a double chin. Smiling as you breath also looks more natural, so you'll get better results.

    East Meets West

Some of the most reliable cars are not from Europe. Honed through years of development and research, Toyota, Lexus and Honda can be ranked among the best the world has to offer. Toyota leads the automotive industry in worldwide sales. With millions of satisfied owners, it continues to reign supreme. To compete in the luxury department, Toyota created the Lexus. Developed mainly in the US, the Lexus offers the quality of Japanese engineering, the toughness of American build and the styling of Europe. Honda on the other hand has built a niche of its own. It has a following of loyal patrons.

The Toyota Corolla is one of the more popular models in Toyota's wide range automobiles. The toyota corolla specs alone speaks for itself. It offers the best bang for your buck with reliability that is the envy of its competitors. The Lexus IS 350c is one of the most beautifully sculpted cars you will ever set your eyes on. Its styling and performance rivals that of its European counterparts. Looking at the lexus is photos made me think twice about European brands. For the Honda aficionados, they have come out with a multi-purpose vehicle on a class of its own. The Honda Element has a wide range of uses. I checked out the honda element photos and I saw a winner. Not quite a car and not quite an SUV, Honda once again outdoes itself.

East meets West, these three will surely give you the time of your life. And give those Europeans a run for their money.

    Reduce Puffiness

Puffiness? Oh, that's the flip side of all the good things that happen to your skin while you sleep. It happens when fluid accumulate in your face (especially around your eyes), when you lie flat for hours. But you can minimize puffiness by keeping your head elevated on at least 2 pillows and skipping salty foods for dinner.

    No Prescription Tramadol

Ever heard of the pain relief drug Tramadol? It is used to treat moderate to severe pain. This drug is similar to morphine and is classified as a synthetic opioid. Tramadol is prescribed frequently for pain treatment over a long period of time, especially for osteoarthritis and lower back pain. And because it is similar to morphine, it is a strong painkiller that mainly affects the nervous system. It sounds a bit dangerous to me so I did a little research. My aunt's doc gave her no prescription tramadol for her osteoarthritis.

I found out that it's not really dangerous if taken correctly. It should never be taken at the same time as similar medications or if a person has ever been addicted to drugs or alcohol. As with all other meds, it should be taken exactly as it was prescribed for you. Do not take it in larger doses or for longer than recommended by your doctor. Follow your doc's orders, if he says only take tramadol 50mg capsules a day, then that's it. Do not take more than 300 milligrams of tramadol in one day. Keep in mind that too much may not only hurt you but over dosage may be fatal.

If you are to buy tramadol online, here are some important information I found that you may want to know first.

    * Some people have experienced convulsions or seizures when they took tramadol. If you have a history of seizures or head injury, a metabolic disorder, or if you are taking certain medicines such as antidepressants, muscle relaxers, or medicine for nausea and vomiting, don't take tramadol.

    * Seek emergency medical attention if you think you have used too much of this medicine. As I have mentioned above, overdose can be fatal. Symptoms of a tramadol overdose may include drowsiness, shallow breathing, slow heartbeat, extreme weakness, cold or clammy skin, feeling light-headed, fainting, or coma.

    * Tramadol is addicting and should only be used by the person it was prescribed for. It should never be given to someone who has a history of drug abuse or addiction. Keep it out of reach of children and in a secure place where others cannot get to it. Tramadol can cause side effects that may impair your thinking or reactions. Do not take it if you have to drive or do anything that requires you to be awake and alert. Talk to your doctor first if you want to stop using tramadol. You could have unpleasant withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety, sweating, nausea, diarrhea, tremors, chills, hallucinations, trouble sleeping, or breathing problems. He can help you avoid withdrawal symptoms when stopping the medication.

    * Do not crush the tablet. This medicine should only be taken orally. The powder from a crushed tablet should not be inhaled or diluted with liquid and injected into the body. The use of this drug by inhalation or injection can cause life-threatening side effects, overdose, or death.

    The Perfect Sofa

Now that my sister's apartment is almost done, it's time begin the hunt for modern sofas. She's asking for my help and I'm so sure she'd prefer nothing too fancy. She always likes things simple but elegant. I found a really cute one that would go nicely with her yellow and beige interior.

Her apartment is kind of small as she's living alone, so I figured this would be perfect. What do you think? What I like most about these modern sofas is that they can be customized to suit your style and home. I can't wait to show it to her, she'll fall in love with it just like I did.
